What's his life's work?
Winston Wu joins the board with 20 years of technology and business experience in both consulting and industry. Winston has consulted across many domains and industries during his time at Accenture and Ernst & Young before taking on executive roles across banking, insurance, telecommunications and enterprise software organizations.
Winston is an experienced technology and business advisor, and management executive with a well-established track record of collaborating with business partners on strategic planning and alignment leading and delivering global complex, multi-faceted programs, and transformations. His experience primarily spans across infrastructure and operations, IT strategy, cyber security, M&A, enterprise architecture and data & analytics.
Today, he is currently a fractional CTO with Exactis (a non-profit oncology data & analytics organization) and the Vice President of Enterprise Data Services at Workday.
What academic role set him up for success?
Winston graduated from the University of Toronto Industrial Engineering program and has had the privilege of working and living in the US, Europe and Asia but is currently based in Toronto, Ontario.
Interesting tidbit
The father of three young children (ages 5, 9 and 11) and enjoys spending time with his wife and family exploring different countries, cultures and cuisines.
